Solution
The project was designed with a modular approach, allowing the system to be expanded by three additional units following the initial installation of four. The first phase provided 520 kW of power and 1,044 kWh of capacity, and with the second phase, the system was increased to 910 kW and 1,827 kWh. The storage system enables more efficient energy management within the company's facilities, peak load shaving, and better utilization of electricity generated by the on-site solar power plant.
Advanced management
The GridIQ system coordinates electricity generation, consumption, and storage, allowing the operation of the storage unit to be adjusted to the company's actual energy needs. The digital platform geogridIQ provides constant monitoring of system performance, tracking of key parameters, and an overview of energy flows.
Project result
- initial installation 520 kW / 1,044 kWh,
- subsequent expansion by an additional 390 kW / 783 kWh,
- final configuration 910 kW / 1,827 kWh,
- modular design allows the system to scale with growing needs,
- more efficient peak load management,
- better utilization of self-generated electricity,
- greater flexibility and energy independence for the commercial facility.
The Melavc d.o.o. project is an example of a phased implementation of a battery storage system, where the initial solution can be expanded later without changing the basic system design.
