Solution
We upgraded CNC Prijatelj's existing solar power plant with an battery energy storage system of 130 kW power and 261 kWh capacity. The system allows for storing surplus electricity produced during periods of high solar power plant output and using it during periods of increased consumption or higher electricity prices.
The system's operation is managed by the advanced smart GridIQ system, which optimizes energy flows between the solar power plant, energy storage system, consumers, and the electricity grid. In this way, the system enables efficient peak shaving, increased self-consumption of generated energy, and further optimization of energy costs.
For a complete overview of the energy system's operation, the client has access to the geogridIQ portal, through which they can monitor the solar power plant's production, the energy storage system's status, energy consumption, and system operation 24 hours a day. The portal enables transparent monitoring of energy flows and further optimization of energy management.
