Project goal: Increasing energy efficiency, improving the utilization of self-generated electricity, and reducing peak loads through the implementation of a modular battery storage system.

Solution

The project was designed with a modular approach, allowing the system to be expanded by three additional units following the initial installation of four. The first phase provided 520 kW of power and 1,044 kWh of capacity, and with the second phase, the system was increased to 910 kW and 1,827 kWh. The storage system enables more efficient energy management within the company's facilities, peak load shaving, and better utilization of electricity generated by the on-site solar power plant.

Advanced management

The GridIQ system coordinates electricity generation, consumption, and storage, allowing the operation of the storage unit to be adjusted to the company's actual energy needs. The digital platform geogridIQ provides constant monitoring of system performance, tracking of key parameters, and an overview of energy flows.
