BS VAR d.o.o., founded in 2009, specializes in design, consulting and engineering in the field of metal industry. Headquartered at Meljska cesta 11 in Maribor, the company offers comprehensive solutions for the development and production of metal structures and their parts.

• Design of metal structures: Preparation of plans and technical documentation for different types of metal structures, adapted to the needs of the client.

• Consulting and Engineering: Providing expert advice and technical support in the development and optimization of metal products and processes.

• Metal Parts Manufacturing: Manufacturing custom metal components, including assembly and material processing.

The challenge

BS VAR had a specific connection capacity of more than 1 MW, which far exceeded their real energy needs. Such a discrepancy between power and actual consumption led to unnecessarily high fixed costs, which had a negative impact on the energy and cost efficiency of the business.

Solution

As a solution, we offered the customer the integration of our Tesvolt TS HV 50 E battery energy storage system with a capacity of 100 kW and a capacity of 112 kWh in combination with a solar power plant of 151.2 kWp. With this advanced energy solution, we have enabled the connection power of the facility to be reduced by more than 1 MW.

In this way, we have helped the client to significantly reduce fixed electricity costs, increase energy independence and take a step forward towards a sustainable and cost-effective business.

Emphasis

A key role in the delivered solution is played by the advanced energy management system Tesvolt Energy Management (TEM), which allows the customer to constantly control consumption, cutting tips and efficient storage of electricity generated from their own solar power plant. The result is a high proportion of self-sufficiency with electricity, which increases energy independence and strengthens the company's sustainability-oriented business.

With an innovative approach and advanced technology, we have helped BS VAR effectively address the energy challenge and laid the foundations for long-term stable and economical use of electricity.
